The Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany is hosting its biennial conference to highlight Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and the challenges and opportunities that come with its introduction to the sector. With sustainability becoming a driving force for many airlines, SAF will play a major role in substituting current fuels. As such this conference provides a chance to discuss and elaborate on that role, bringing together industry leaders to signify which actions are needed to achieve aviation’s net-zero goals.
